Author’s note:
I originally wrote this as a word-study of the two words “content” and “still”. This then reminded me of the type of companionship I hoped to share with my future wife – my future lifelong partner. But after reading through and reflecting on this type of love, I felt God tugging at my heart. I felt Him reminding me of His everlasting love; that he was my first love; the first love.
The still of God carries an additional connotation.
His still holds the powerful connotation of the everlasting.

The initial writing in my journal and the edits I made after reflecting on God’s everlasting love for me.
